About As Seen Online

"As Seen Online" is a concept as old as the Internet, itself.

AsSeenOnline.com however, dates back to the the beginning of the 21st century. As early as 2002, it was owned by the company that created MySpace - a platform known for introducing a generation to the concept of social media.

The term itself is a play on the well-known phrase "As Seen on TV", only, awesomer.

Over the past 10 years, the domain changed hands and went through various incarnations. In the spring of 2017 we pretty much just pressed "Reset" on the whole thing, rebooted it, and it became what you're seeing right now.

On this site, we explore a lot of things, including movies, music, technology, art, entertainment, life experiences, and tidbits of information you might not have necessarily come across elsewhere in the far reaches of cyberspace. And if it wasn't something that was seen online before this, it will be now! Cool, huh?

It's not like we have better taste than you, though. Maybe quite the opposite. The term "curated" gets bandied about entirely too much these days, and seems almost pretentious, like someone knows more than you, or you'll be expected to dress up just to find something out. Here, it's more like going to a friend's house, and them showing you something. You might like it, you might not. Either way, we still get to hang out. Sweet!

We're based out of the Hudson Valley - birthplace of Artificial Intelligence, the Woodstock Music Festival, and Mark Zuckerberg... in that order.
